Moving along! Happier Oward!
Well!! Recently, just Friday as a matter of fact! My boyfriends' cousin got married.. SO in the spirit of buying presents for them -- I decided to go cheap and hit the heart! Err, well TRY anyways.. I 'borrowed' some pictures off of their FB pages and edited them in Photo Shop.. Which as you may know I like to dabble with as well - - As if I'm not already busy with everything else I "dabble with".. SMH.
ANYWAYS - I decided to do one with the dates of importance.. Their birthdays, engagement date, and wedding date. It turned out really cool I think!
I put it in a really nice silver frame.. I think they loved them - they past them around to everyone.. Everyone said I did a great job.. Thank goodness it was a hit!!
I love doing little projects like this, so I also decided to do one a bit bigger.. I asked the couple to give me a quote, well they must have discussed it before or they talked about it when I told them not to... but they both chose the same quote from Dr. Suess. So here is the next one......
So this one.. I ended up LOVING as well!! I put it in a matching silver 8X10. I'm pretty happy with the response from it! I don't know, what do you think? Comments?!
SO - as we all know.. It was St. Patrick's Day yesterday.. Well in addition to St. Patrick's day, it is also the boyfriend's birthday. So I got the little man a shirt that said "Daddy's little lucky boy" on it and he had a pair of cute plaid green shorts.. When he fell asleep I took a picture of Grayson in the outfit and bought a frame for like $4 dollars... WELL.. Here is is folks!
I used green OF course.. I wanted it to be bright and colorful! I know probably not something that a man would want.. but a daddy would LOVE it!
Sooo.. I've been busy to the max lately.. we just got our pictures done at beautiful Falls Park in Downtown Greenville.. It was just amazing.. I'm actually waiting on those pictures as I type.. hopefully I get them so I can share a few with ya before I end this bloggy post.
I made a Strawberry Creme Pie the other day it didn't turn out like ti was supposed to but it would have been REALLY good as a fruit salad. 2 blocks of cream cheese, 2/3 cups of sugar, tbsp vanilla and about 3/4 cup of cold milk. It's like a cheesecake dip.. it would be so good with a bunch of fresh fruits mixed in with it.! Definitely must try it!
O-MY-Goodness.. I also made the BEST chicken tacos I have ever had. I mean they were amazing it was SO simple.. Get out your crock pot ladies!! All you need is some boneless chicken breasts about a pound and a half or 2 a jare of Pace Salsa I used mild.. a package of taco seasoning of your choice.. THAT's it!! Get some flour tortillas, cheese, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes, taco sauce!! YUMMY! You should definitely try these! I found both recipes on Pinterest of course.
I'm in the middle of doing a little photo shoot with my little man outside with his new mohawk hat that I made for him recently.. I will have to finish it and hope my lil guy gets better soon :( I still haven't received the pics that I've been waiting for this entire blog.. DANG! HURRY UP!
Well.. I guess I share a few of the pictures I've taken over that last couple weeks that I've been MIA..
This is me! You have a face to the words.. |
I love him more than anything else in this entire world! :) |
He loves his pizza! This is while he was sick :-( He just looks sad and pitiful, poor munster man.. |
