*NEW PRODUCT** Cell Phone Case!
I am horrible with cell phones and drop them ALL the time.. plus I have an almost one year old... I'm sure you all know they want to play with the phones!! So I decided to just make one out of yarn because I don't want to pay $20 for a breakable phone case -- I've broken them too -- So it closes shut and provides padding for the long drop to the floor! If your interested stop by my facebook page or leave me a comment on this page!!! :) Thanks for stopping by!

HOPPY LATE EASTER!
First of all... HAPPY BELATED EASTER TO EVERYONE! :) I hope everyone had a great and joyful day!!
I had a great Easter! My little munster man had a great day as well! We woke up and gave Grayson his Easter basket and he gave a better reaction then I thought that I would have! We had dinner at his Memaw and Pepaw's then we hid Easter eggs, blew bubbles, and TRIED to fly a kite! Here are some pictures of our Easter Day :)
This is the Easter eggs that I made, Grayson fell asleep early and we didn't have a chance to do it with h im.. I was upset! BUT they turned out good, I didn't have anything to keep the eggs in so I cut the carton in half and used a sharpie to write on it.
I purposely messed some of them up by double dying a few..
<------ Grayson getting his Easter basket for the first time! He was so excited and ALL smiles pretty much the whole day!
-------------------------->
He is walking so good now, he walked right by the egg though! :) He is so funny! <3 him.
Me and my main man blowing bubbles together :)
Again....
How precious.
I love his outfit and how happy he is on this day!!
Okay, okay. Enough about the holidays! Onward.
Well, little man is turning one in a month and a half so I have started planning, most of you already know, I got his shirt made! He will be wearing......
I need to get another blue and red sharpie to get the numbers darker on the back, but I love how it came out! I did some research and it said that this Cubs logo was the first one to be created, and since it's his first birthday I decided to go with that one! My boyfriend loves how it turned out.. I'm hoping that it will fit him in a monthish! If not, I'll make another one, lol.
Hmm.. I also made....
Sugar cookie bars! They were good, chances are I won't be making them again though because they are a little but to sweet for my family..
I love how the purple icing turned out, I used 9 drops on neon blue and 15 drops of pink! and the recipe that I used iiiiiiiiiiisssssss...
From Six Sisters' Stuff
Sugar Cookie Bars:
1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
5 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1. In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each egg. Mix in vanilla.
2. In a separate bowl whisk together flour, salt and baking soda. Add to wet mixture and mix just until combined. Spread on a greased, rimmed baking sheet (use a 13x18x1" pan/cookie sheet). The dough will be just like cookie dough- heavy and sticky- so it’s best to spray your hands with a little nonstick spray and use them to help mold the dough into the pan.
3. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 min, until light golden brown or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.
Mom's Frosting:
Frosting:
1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine or butter, softened
1/4 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar (more or less depending on how thick/runny you like it)
A couple of drops blue food coloring (or any other color) to get desired blue color (optional)
Combine all ingredients until well-blended. Spread on top of bars. Top with sprinkles if you want!
ENJOY!
Let's see what else have I been up to?! Oh scrapbooking like a mad lady! I am trying to get Grayson's scrapbook caught up to be able to sit it out at the birthday party for people to look through.. I'm also thinking of doing a video but I'm not exactly sure if I am going to have enough time with all the things I have to get done.. We shall see.. I don't have any pictures of the scrapbooking pages I've done, but they are just simple pages because I don't have a whole lot of time, money, or "extra" scrapbooking stuff, only the necessities!
